After the collaboration with an American poet, I have been deeply missing words. When I came back to the U.S. for a second artist residency in November 2024, I found an English-English dictionary. What started out as playfully looking up words (I have always had a fascination for words, and have studied English at university.), finally resulted in an expansion of my practice: Choosing words, selecting parts of their explanations, and adding words, allowed me to create a parallel narrative, a second voice, to complement my prints.
The original drafts are from 2024. The prints and written work came about in 2026, and are still in progress. The photo of the wall installation gives a hint towards the finished work that will include writing. Below is a selection of finished prints.
